Clifford Gordon Scarff (Cliff) passed away at Dr. Helmcken Memorial Hospital on March 26, 2014 at the age of 80 after a lengthy illness.
Cliff was born on June 3, 1933 in Duhamel, Alberta to Gordon and Gladys Scarff. He grew up in the Camrose, Westaskawin area and he moved to British Columbia in the early 1950’s living for a time in the Williams Lake, Avola, and Prince George area before settling in Vavenby in 1972. He drove logging truck and the log loader for different employers for over 45 years and owned a log loader of his own for a few years. Cliff retired in 1998.
Cliff was involved in dancing with the Shuffling Shoes Square Dance Club; he danced in Alberta, all over British Columbia and in Alaska.
Cliff loved camping and sitting around the fire.
We had many enjoyable camping holidays around British Columbia, Alberta, Montana, the North West Territories, Alaska and several trips to the Yukon. The Yukon was his favourite place to travel.
In the last few years he got much pleasure joining his friends for dinners at the legion. He will be missed.Print This Obituary & Condolences
