(Feb 11, 1952 – Oct 13, 2014) – Ken Dunlop passed away on October 13, 2014, at his home in Barriere, BC, after a brave battle with cancer. Born in Kamloops, BC, on February 11, 1952, Ken is survived by his loving wife Lynda, son Derek (Jodie) of Peachland, BC, son Daryl (Crystal) of Rocky Mountain House, AB, by his mother, Barbara, brother Mick, sisters Elizabeth and Eleanor, granddaughters Oryon, Oaklynd and Orryonna, and by many friends. Ken was predeceased by his father George and his brother Don.
Ken was a heavy equipment operator; he loved working with excavators, especially building roads. He loved his dog Dexter and went everywhere with him. He loved practical jokes and was always a joker. Ken enjoyed fishing, hunting and everything outdoors.
Ken especially loved his wife and family, and had a special place in his heart for his granddaughters. He cared very deeply about his friends and would do anything to help somebody out.
