With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Brandy Lynnette Elesko on September 3, 2016 in Clearwater, BC after a courageous fight of leukemia twice and a fungal lung infection. Brandy described herself as free spirited and easy going. She believed people should be nicer to each other, it makes life easier. Always love the ones around you and make sure they know it because it is better to let them know in life than to wish they knew in death. Most of the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who have kept on trying when there seemed to be no hope at all.
Brandy was born September 15, 1972 in Lillooet, BC where she lived for a short period of time, and then the family moved to Clearwater, BC where she lived until the age of 6. She then moved back to Lillooet to live with her dad until the age of 14. At that age she returned to Clearwater to complete her schooling. When in Clearwater she met Manfred Schurack and had their two sons Cole and Keagan. After some time Manny and Brandy went their separate ways and Brandy moved to Nanaimo where she worked at the University of Victoria.
